I had visited a couple of arcades in the city of Hong Kong before reaching The Super King Game Center, so I knew a little of how it works. I explained it before in my last video, so I'll copy and paste below this paragraph. Now you understand why there are curtains around the Initial D! The arcades has some pretty cool and interesting games! I learned pretty quickly when the woman told me to stop filming! lol... I later learned that it was due to the gambling and smoking, both of which are illegal, but, not really enforced well in Hong Kong. Everybody is doing it, everybody knows about it, but it's just the way it is. It sucks a lot if you don't smoke though. I found it very hard to stay in these arcades. So you tend to see curtains around video games in arcades, the aim of the curtain is to block some of the smoke. Now everything makes sense! haha! If arcades didn't allow smoking, then their clientele would go elsewhere. So it's a bit of a catch 22. It's actually more extreme in mainland China.
