Two years ago, Savera and I were in a quiet corner of Goa, working on our projects. It was pouring outside, so swimming in the sea was not possible. I tried ordering some matcha, but no café had it. Stuck indoors with a lot of deadlines looming over us, we randomly started singing this little tune instead of doing our actual work. It became this inside joke, almost like a way for us to unwind and laugh in the middle of the chaos. We’ve had this song sitting in our bank ever since. Over the years, we’d often play it for friends alongside our other music and somehow, this song always stuck. People would hear it once and later come back humming the melody, asking us when we would release it. So we figured it was time.
