Looking for the best chicken and rice casserole recipe? 🐔🍚 In this video, I’m testing more of my mom’s homemade chicken and rice casserole recipes to see which one deserves the crown Also I’m adding my own twist with unique flavor profiles and seasonings. 👉 Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and comment your favorite version below! 1 chicken cut up salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1 cup uncooked long grain rice 1/2 cup chicken broth Combine soups and rice place in bottom of 9x13 pan, Place chicken on top pour over chicken broth and lemon juice, season the chicken, cover with foil bake at 325 for 2 hours. Uncover the last 30 minutes. Slow Cooker Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken & Rice Casserole Ingredients 1½–2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs 1½ cups uncooked long-grain white rice (not instant) 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of jalapeño soup 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup ½ cup sour cream 1½ cups chicken broth 1 tsp taco seasoning (optional) ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper 1 cup salsa (for topping) Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese Instructions 1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick spray. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of jalapeño soup, cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, chicken broth, and seasonings. 3. Stir in the uncooked rice until evenly coated. 4. Pour the rice mixture into the slow cooker, spreading it evenly. 5. Lay the chicken on top of the rice mixture. 6. Spread the salsa evenly over the chicken. 7. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3 hours, until chicken is tender and rice is cooked. 8. Shred or slice the chicken and stir gently into the rice. 9. Optional: Top with shredded cheese, cover, and let melt for 5–10 minutes before serving. French onion 2 cans canned chicken, drained 1 can Campbell’s French Onion Soup 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup 1 cup uncooked rice (white long-grain works best) 1 can (about 1½ cups) chicken broth or water Optional: ½ cup shredded cheese (Swiss, provolone, or mozzarella) Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder or Italian seasoning for extra flavor combine soups in a pan over medium high heat, was mixed add canned chicken, turn down heat to low, pour in rice, mix and cover cooking for 30 minutes or until rice is done. Check often to ensure rice isn't sticking to bottom of pan.
