Lily Klebanoff Blake, HCHS '60 "The Tipping Point: Why Women Will Lead the World of Tomorrow" President, Klebanoff International Lily Klebanoff Blake heads an emerging markets consultancy focusing on China and the former Soviet Union. Blake served as president of the Financial Women's Association and currently oversees the organization's relationship with over 20 corporate supporters. An expert in health care finance, public finance, and capital finance, Blake managed New York City's health care budget for the indigent as well as the capital program for the nation's largest public hospital system. Blake has a long-standing commitment to the advancement of women and gender equality through her work with FWA and Mount Holyoke College. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
