Aries resting in His TEMPORARY EXPERIMENTAL TANK, while it was being tested. He mostly slept and rested in this enclosure, after having AMPLE FREE-RANGE TIME, as well as other caging options which provided more space and comfort. This tank was required for his HEALTH, as the first step in attempts to alleviate an issue we were experiencing, and only used this tank while unsupervised up to 12 hours 4 nights per week while I was at my place of employment. My Laboratory, research, and animals were stolen and exploited, and this is documentation of some of the concepts that I was researching herein: Animal habits and habitats, care, and abilities in communication with humans- especially making choices for themselves. Here, Aries was being asked about the conditions within said tank, was the temperature appropriate? His input was valuable and considered. Of course, his body language was being read as a form of non-verbal communication. Did he seem to enjoy himself? Reticulated Pythons hide themselves in very small spaces in the wild and enjoy caves and water. This habitat was TEMPORARY AND EXPERIMENTAL and crafted to provide a cave-like structure which used HEATED WATER in order to maintain a temperature range of about 85°F- 95°F, as well as consistent humidity. After testing this tank in order to obtain calculations, we were planning on using those ratios in order to re-create this same habitat on a larger scale in a much larger aquarium. While Aries was unsupervised, he used an aquarium tank such as this and the enclosure was always locked firmly using a specifically designed mechanism which I invented. The aquarium was locked down tightly and could not be opened or accessed without several keys. No one was ever harmed by one of my snakes while they were in my care, at any time. I recently discovered how some of my research has been used for an illegal and unethical purpose. I was vulnerable because I had not yet documented my research publicly.
