✴️ Subject: Study of Jain Karma Philosophy (जैन कर्म शास्त्र) ✴️ Today we are starting new Jain Karma Philosophy Lecture Series course in which together we will learn about - 8 KARMAS comprehensively with logic and deeper understanding. By learning of this course we will have a new appreciation of this subject and it will grow our curiosity to continue exploration of this topic further. Mahavir research foundation is running global classes. Today we are starting Jain Karma Philosophy which is the Heart of Jainism. In MRF, many different classes are going on for one year with the academic system. We will take 2 classes per week. After completion of one year there will be near about 100 – 108 classes. I will request you if you have enthusiasm please enroll and this type of lectures are not only for listening but also studying with full dedication. We will try to learn everything in depth and detail. Karma theory, it is Live knowledge also called the “Jeevant Vidya”. It will be like a mirror showing you your own inner reflection. If you will study Karma shastra, you will be able to correct yourself. What is the purpose of Karma Philosophy? With the help of this philosophy we can know other person, simultaneously we can know ourselves too. It answers a big question “WHO AM I?” It will teach us what type of correction we can do in our lives, what type of correction is required. We can stop the Bad Karmas, start good Karmas, develop the merits, reduce the karmas. These are the basic factors of karmas. It’s a pleasure that from Atlanta Ms.Elsa Shah is organizing these classes. We are thankful for such a kind initiative. We all will be abided to follow the rules and regulations in this course. In Karma philosophy we will learn many things. Karma is more supreme than God or Tirthankars. All the Tirthankars also had to get rid of the Karmas. Then only they could become Tirthankars. We will do a comparative study of different religion and philosophies with Jainism. First Karma Granth will be the base and then study that in even more detail. We must do hard work and home work and be dedicated. It is really a helpful thing for self-discipline. In Karma Philosophy, what are karmas, what are different type of karmas, what are their nature, why it is necessary will be studied. It is really surprising that this Karma philosophy is not explained by any other religion or any other school of philosophy. They don’t believe so they don’t teach.
