As followers of my channel know, I like experimenting with different odd cameras, and as I got a box of older digital compact point&shoot cameras and some APS film based cameras for next to nothing, I was fired up to make some tests with these old and technically outdated cameras. The box contained 21 cameras, 12 of which I couldn’t get to work, but the rest I will be reviewing here on my channel - if they don’t stop to work before I have reviewed them :-) In this first episode of this series I’ll be the Canon Powershot A70, a 3.2 megapixel camera with a small sensor, but to my liking a CCD sensor, the output of which I often like very much. This camera is the oldest in the box - apart from the APS film cameras, and we’ll see if it’s possible to make good images or artistic images with this camera. I’ll also - now that I’m also into printing (doing an exhibition soon) - do a print test, to see how large you can print images with such a low resolution.
