The Fetch works by “finding” the opening of a broken pipe or pump and locking it into the jaws (dogs). It grips the broken pipe using pressure from pulling up on the retrieval rope. If the object being recovered is lodged into place and cannot be withdrawn, the Fetch has a recovery system that allows it to release the pipe. The Fetch can retrieve pipes or tubing with a minimum pipe diameter of 1 inch, and maximum sidewall thickness of 3/8 inch.
