How to be a Real Estate Coach for New and Seasoned Agents Should you become a coach? Do you have some years in real estate? Are people asking you for how to do something? Help people out! But at some point, it can distract you from your career goals. The next step would be to become a coach. This will bring in additional income. Coaching is a fantastic way to get a sense for helping other people out. Coaching should be a non-friendly relationship. It should be a business relationship. You can be friends outside the call but during the call, you should be divining into their business. As a coach, you are there to help them push their business. Look for someone who has been there, done that; someone who is still involved in the real estate industry. An effective coach will use and understand models. Are they coaching to a model? Do they ask what your goals are on a daily basis? Do they ask you what the reality of your business is? Do they talk about obstacles that could be in your way? Do they ask you what the will to want to be successful is? A coach should have a model they can follow to help you be held accountable and more successful.
