Maninder Left Home for a Brighter Future, Misled Into Ukraine War, Returned in a Coffin

24-year-old Maninder Singh, resident of Awana village of the RS Pura, district Jammu, had left home in Dec 2024 for better future in Russia where he was pursuing languages course. He was mislead into a Ukraine War by a local female agent. Maninder was told that he would not be fighting at the front but at the backyards of the battle field. Just after few days of training he was sent into war zone in combat by Russian army and died on Aug 28, 2025 at Donestk. Grieving family members say he was trapped.
