Africa Disrupt CSW70 convened in Accra, Ghana under the theme “Centering Justice, Ensuring Equality for African Women and Girls,” bringing together feminists from across the continent to interrogate systems, confront discrimination, and reimagine what justice must look like in African contexts. Through powerful reflections and grounded conversations on access to justice, legal reform, and structural barriers, participants created space for African women and girls to shape the agenda rather than react to it—naming gaps in laws and institutions, challenging visa injustices that exclude African feminists from global spaces, and building collective positions rooted in lived realities.
