*Everyone knows that all 911s are prone to understeer. And when you drive it on a sketchy road with tires that have seen it all, fighting with understeer is almost useless. It's better to embrace it and squeeze the speed and fun out of it. One very popular question on this channel is 'What tires do you run?'. With this car the tires are really important but how worn they are is the most significant thing, because it changes the behavior a lot! Yes, it gets more tricky to turn the car into the corner, but also allows you to go sideways which is absolutely impossible on new tires as the grip is enormous. Drifting on 911? Forget it. The only thing you get at some point is a snap of oversteer - no fun at all. But as the tires come to an end also arrives a great possibility of sliding. However if you want to go fast having no grip at front, you should push it trough the understeer allowing the car to have a constant line and speed in the corners.
