In a powerful moment, a massive crowd in Mexico City chanted “Palestina libre,” meaning “Free Palestine,” back-to-back during Puerto Rican rapper Residente’s free concert at the Zócalo on Saturday. The 29-time Latin Grammy winner dedicated the night to resistance, peace and solidarity, inviting onstage members of the Abed family, Palestinian refugees from Gaza now living in Mexico.
