Please join us for this educational webinar on Best Practices for Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) where you'll hear directly from Alexander Amdur, the Director for AD/CVD Policy and Program Division within the Office of International Trade (OT) at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CEP). Mr Amdur will be available to answer any AD/CVD questions and provide guidance on a variety of AD/CVD topics including: Using Ace to manage AD/CVD entries including Post Summary Corrections (PSCs)​ Due Diligence for suppliers and supply chain involving export-specific rates Managing the written scope of AD/CVD orders and estimation of AD/CVD duties due on imports Ad/CVD cases are on the rise with over 452 new petitions filed in 2015, the highest number in over 14 years. CBP has indicated that AD/CVD Enforcement is a top Priority Trade Issue (PTIs) and customs brokers are also ebing held to a higher standard for collecting data from importers when it comes to PTIs such as AD/CVD. Lisa Gelsomino from Avalon Risk Management and co-chair of the COAC Trade Enforcement and Revenue Collection Subcommittee will help moderate the webinar and provide updates from teh COAC AD/CVD Working Group, including new AD/CVD provisions under the Trade Faciliation and Trade Enforcement Act.
