Neben der Kirche steht das Gutshaus und vor der Kirche ist ein kleiner Marktplatz. Nicht weit weg befindet sich das Elbmarschenhaus. Dort gibt es viele Informationen zur Natur in der Pinneberger Elbmarsch, direkt zum ansehen, anfassen und Staunen. Ein Ausflug ist empfehlenswert. Wer schon hier ist, sollte sich auch nicht den Hafen und das angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet entgehen lassen. Im Hafen bekommt man die leckersten Fischbrötchen und kann auch Räucherfisch kaufen. Genießt die Stimmung aus anderer Perspektive in diesem idyllischen Dorf.
