This is how to properly clear and re-pair this wireless thermostat. 7500 kit reset communications On occasion it may become necessary to clear or reset the wireless connection between the thermostat and the control module. To do so follow this procedure in order properly re-set and re-pair the communication link Thermostat 1. On the thermostat press Return and Down arrow buttons to access installer menu. 2. Press back once to change to clear setting. 3. Use up/down to change value to CLR2 4. Press return. Display will blank and unit will reboot. Unit is now clear of all wireless connections Control Module 1. Press and hold the connect (com/reset) button until the COMM indicator light turns solid red. (Usually 10 to 15 seconds.) 2. Release the connect button and the COMM indicator light will flash blue and red once to indicate successful clearing. The units are now ready to establish a new connection. To “pair” the units together: Thermostat 1. On the thermostat, press the HOLD and RETURN buttons for 3 seconds. 2. The word CMOD (control module) will appear in the display and the WIFI symbol will flash. Control Module 1. On the control module, press and hold the CONNECT button for 3 seconds and release. 2. The control module will enter pairing mode for up to 60 seconds. During this time the COMM indicator will flash blue every two seconds. 3. Once successfully paired the COMM indicator will turn solid blue. Also, the WIFI symbol on the thermostat will remain solid. 4. The system is now successfully paired together.
