Introducing the fifth video from my ‘Made Up Stories’ series. This video features my dearly departed friend, Amanda, and is a very personal poignant video for me and, I hope, you. Amanda came to me after a very aggressive bout of chemo which caused her to lose all of her hair, lashes and brows. She wanted to look good and feel fabulous for her son’s Barmitzvah, but also to share the whole experience on camera so that she could help and inspire others who are suffering too. This was very important to her and reflected her warm and generous personality that made those of us who had the privilege of knowing her love her so much. I have chosen to set up a fundraising page with the amazing charity Look Good Feel Better who help women and children to continually feel positive about themselves, despite the challenges they are facing from cancer.
