This video is the 2 part of the Great Wall Hiking in Autumn series. Huanghuacheng means 'Yellow Flower Wall" in Mandarin. It's called this because of the abundant yellow flowers that bloom during mid-autumn. This wall is also known as the "Water Great Wall" as 3 sections have been submerged in the reservoir. Hikers have to cross the farmers' land to get to the wall. There's a 3 RMB charge per person to pass through. This wall used to have shrubs and trees growing on it, but the authorities have cleaned it up and restored it.
