Check out this quick video showing how to use old extension tubes for macro photography. I picked up this set of extension tubes from my local thrift. Now I made a video on shooting macro photography with a reverse lens adapter, so I was interested to see how these tubes would compare. Today I'll be testing out the tubes with the Olympus I'm Zuiko 50mm f1.8. I'm adapting the tubes and lenses using a K&F Concept Adapter I bought from Amazon for about $15. The adapter is the magical piece of metal that allows us to use these old lenses on our new cameras. In this case I'm using an adapter that converts the Olympus OM Mount to the Sony NEX/E-Mount, it's labeled (OM-NEX). In this video we'll take a closer look at the extension tubes design, adapt them to our camera, and run out and get some macro sample photos and videos. There are so many like old camera gear, not only does it make your camera look super cool, but adapting vintage lenses can be an excellent way to acquire quality products for a bargain price:) If you liked this video go ahead and hit the like button, if you want to see more like it go ahead and subscribe, and I always like hearing your comments so leave a comment down below.
