We are delighted to be joined by Professor Kiran Klaus Patel who holds the Ludwig Maximilian Chair of European History at Munich University. Kiran has published widely, covering topics such as the New Deal, Nazism, and the origins of the EU. His most recent book is Project Europe: A History (2020). Kiran will also be exploring the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the integrity of the EU. Hosting is Sebastian Erskine, who is a second year undergraduate at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. He is also Head of Academic Events at the Cambridge University History Society (CLIO).
