Maximum Rhythm - synthwave jam with Roland J-6, Korg Volca Bass FM Sample

Welcome back for a proper jam with the Roland J-6 and my passel of Volcas. I was working on some synthwave setups to jam with and figured I'd work the J-6 into the mix. I couldn't decide exactly how to use the J-6 in the comp, so I had it do a little of everything! It shows how versatile this little synth is. The Volcas are passed through Little Bear mixer Then to the NTS running a light Hall Reverb Then passed through the Roland J-6 which is running its own delay and reverb effects per pattern And then some light Ozone 10 compression on the final mix Pretty sweet! There are definitely some tradeoffs using the J-6 to perform parts I would do on the FM or the Bass, but they are all comparable synths, in my opinion. How's the sound?
