We continue our journey through the book of Nehemiah, a story of prayer, courage, community, and renewal. Nehemiah reminds us that God doesn’t rush restoration. He invites His people to pause, pray, and depend on Him before they ever begin to rebuild. Throughout this series, we are walking through the same 52-day season in which the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt, discovering how God still rebuilds lives today. We will see that prayer precedes progress, opposition does not cancel God’s plans, and how every person has a role in the work God is doing. True restoration begins with inward renewal through God’s Word, repentance, and obedience. As we reflect on this story, we are invited to consider what it might look like to rebuild what is broken in our own lives. Today, we come to Nehemiah chapter 3. What appears to be a list of random names becomes a powerful reminder that God accomplishes His work through His people. Each person, different in age, occupation, and ability, was given a section of the wall, and every contribution mattered. Together, they show us that rebuilding is the calling of many.
