Atoto S8 Ultra Factory Resets Itself

This is a weird one. I love the Atoto brand but I don't know what to make of this problem. I'm wondering if it plagues only the S8 Ultra model, because I have other models I have owned that are working fine. I have had other radios in this car and this happened on my previous car with an identical unit as well. It seems to format the OS partition randomly, but the internal storage still persists, as does the Bluetooth paired devices. It's annoying because it takes me almost an hour to put everything back when this happens. This is my 2nd unit, the first one got progressively worse (first happened 6-9 months in, then every couple of months, then every few weeks, etc). I thought it was just a lemon and got Atoto to send me a replacement, until this one just did the same thing- 6 months after owning it. Am I just unlucky that I get the bad S8 Ultras? What could be causing this?
