This video is going to be the first in a series (playlist on my channel) of me slowly shooting through my "Accidental Camera Collection" Be it through friends and family giving me camera or cheap charity shop/ Thrift store finds ive somehow managed to come in to possession of quite a few of these old cameras. Rather than letting them rot away on a shelf or in deep storage im going to put a least one roll through each one and see how it does! Episode. 1 - The Grey Baby Rolleiflex Officially known as the Rolleiflex 4×4 Automatic, this is a compact twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera designed by Franke & Heidecke (Rollei). Introduced in 1957, it was aimed at photographers who wanted the quality of a Rolleiflex in a smaller, more portable format. It uses 127 roll film to produce 12 square exposures of 4×4 cm, making it ideal for “Super Slides”—larger-than-35mm slides that fit standard mounts but offer superior image quality. This camera in particular along side several other vintage cameras was given to me by my good mate Paul who also had a youtube channel @happygilder Please go check out his channel and give him a subscribe. If you like the content that Pixel & Grain produces please consider subscribing and liking the videos. It does so much in getting smaller channels out there.
