Jazzpunk: Director’s Cut is a surreal comedy-adventure walking simulator developed and published by Necrophone Games in 2014. Set in an absurd, alternate Cold War reality, the player takes on the role of Polyblank, an eccentric secret agent working for a private espionage agency. From there, the game unfolds through a series of bizarre spy missions that parody classic espionage tropes. NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ - The game is undeniably entertaining a true YouTuber’s dream, overflowing with moments to react to and absurd scenes to dissect. Personally, it’s not entirely my style, yet I can’t deny its charm. The abundance of small details, references, and hidden jokes makes Jazzpunk stand out among walking simulators, it’s one of the most memorable I’ve played so far.
