I AM UNSTOPPABLE: A Soldier's Mission

Stockwell remembers waking up in the hospital. It was Iraq, April of 2004, and she had been the victim of a roadside bomb. Her left leg was missing, lost in the explosion. What she imagined would be a life of limitations turned into the opposite. Transferred to Walter Reed hospital, and inspired by the hard work of other recovering soldiers, Stockwell began the intense process of not just of recovery, but of athletic training. She went on to become one of the world's top Paralympians. In 2008, she was on the United States Paralympic swim team, and 2016 she will represent the U.S. at the Olympic games in Rio de Jeinero, Brazil.
