The waterfalls are located towards the southern coast of Koh Samui’s central peak. Plan a day trip, you may find a number of things to see and do. Explore the island’s stunning landscapes and hiking pathways. Many people visit the waterfalls as they are easily accessed by vehicles. Also, the site has a number of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby. They do have elephant riding but please do your own research of the inhumanity of elephant riding and how if you continue to support it than it continues to go on.... On the other hand there are sooo many elephant sanctuary's, especially around Chiang Mai, We did one there and it was the best day trip of our lives! We didnt make it to The Namuang Waterfall 2 but it's the highest waterfall in Samui. If you are an enthusiastic hiker, you will enjoy the 30-minute walk to reach the summit. The waterfalls are near each other, so it's easy to visit both waterfalls on the same day.
