And who else is more perfect for the job than my bandmates Andrew Kesler, Evan Sanders, and Simon Åkesson. We got our hands on this arrangement when we traveled to Texas earlier this year to celebrate the music of Gene Puerling in concert, where we were lucky enough to see Gene’s original scores and meet the remaining members of the Hi-Lo’s – dream come true! The collaborators in this video are not just singers, but a driving force to keep this niche genre of music alive. It’s an incredible joy for us to make this music and share it with you.
