After Sheppard he came back to the UK and converted to the BAE Hawk T1 before heading to RAF Chivenor for Tac Weapons. The Phantom was Parky's first operational aircraft and the first squadron was the famous 111 Squadron at RAF Leuchars before heading the RAF Germany and Wildenrath with 92 Squadron.
