Today’s adventure takes place right behind my friend’s house, where a quiet canal hides some surprising aquatic life. Armed with a small net and plenty of patience, I spent the afternoon carefully scooping wild fish straight from the water — a simple moment that turned into a really exciting catch! 😮🐠 The main highlight of this session was the wrestling halfbeak, a fast-moving surface swimmer with a unique beak-shaped mouth that makes it incredibly fun (and challenging!) to catch. Along the way, I also spotted a few tiny guppy-like fish, adding even more excitement to this backyard fishing day. 🎣✨ I always try to handle wild fish gently and respectfully, making sure they’re safely transferred into a container before bringing them home. These fish will now be kept as pets, where they’ll receive proper care, clean water, and regular feeding.
