We are moving beyond a simple "200 OK" to build an endpoint that actively verifies connectivity to our critical infrastructure. 💡 In this live build: Implement health.py: A dedicated router for system diagnostics. Deep Checks: Pinging PostgreSQL, Redis, and the Kafka Producer to ensure they are reachable. Status Aggregation: Returning a clear UP, DEGRADED, or DOWN status summary. Verification: Manually stopping Docker services to test failure states and writing automated unit tests to ensure reliability.
