›› watch in hd & with earphones ›› fandoms: lord of the rings & warcraft ›› for: the alternate universe contest, hosted by vintage misery so here it is. because the individual fandoms' plot descriptions don't fit into the box anymore, here's only the one of both joined. the fandom where this element is from is written in () some of these things are not shown bc they are unchanged from the lotr storyline aided by the evil green magic fel (warcraft), which sucks the life energy out of everything, sauron and his servant saruman (lotr) have brought orcs (warcraft, even though lotr has also orcs, but they’re different) into the world of men. in a quest to restore sauron’s power, which is dependent on the one ring, they bring war upon the kingdoms of rohan and gondor (lotr). (their base is the land of mordor.) one of the orcs is the chieftain durotan (warcraft). in an attempt to stop them, the elf lord elrond (lotr) has brought together a council: in order of appearance, the lady taria (warcraft), aragorn (lotr), king llane (warcraft), frodo (lotr) and other representatives of all peoples and races. they agree that they need to work together to destroy the ring of power, which is the only way to stop sauron. the young wizard khadgar (warcraft) had found information on it in old scrolls (lotr). the ring can only be destroyed in the volcano mount doom in the heart of mordor, which is where frodo volunteers to bring it. a fellowship is formed to help frodo. during their travels, frodo is warned by the ancient being alodi (warcraft); khadgar fights a balrog (lotr); boromir (lotr) is killed during an attack by orcs. meanwhile and a bit later, in the kingdom of rohan (lotr), clans of orcs are destroying the land by command of saruman. durotan’s (warcraft) clan, the frostwolves, do not join in, however, because durotan doesn’t want to kill helpless civilians. after a different attack, the king’s nephew éomer (lotr) finds his cousin badly wounded. he brings him home, where éomer’s sister éowyn (lotr) and their close friend lothar (warcraft) can say goodbye. éomer presents king théoden (lotr) with an orc helmet, which the half-orc garona (warcraft) identifies as such. the symbol (the white hand) proves that the orcs are working for saruman, but théoden is mind-controlled by the wizard medivh (warcraft), who convinces him that saruman is their friend, and has éomer and lothar arrested. interlude: romance :D medivh used to be together with the elven maid arwen (lotr), but that didn’t go well when he turned evil. aragorn and taria are an item, and garona and the elf legolas (lotr) are interested. (i wanted to include lothar/éomer but horsedude doesn’t have enough scenes.) garona tells medivh about how she heard sauron’s voice when pippin (lotr) used the palantír (like a crystal ball used for communication, very rare). when aragorn gets hold of another palantír, he is shown how medivh is being completely corrupted and transformed by the fel. this actually happens, with saruman gleefully watching, since he was the one who introduced him to the fel. arwen, now fully betrayed, has the old sword of the kings of gondor reforged. taria presents it to aragorn, who is the rightful king. he accepts his fate. lothar, still locked up, has guessed that medivh is evil and warns éowyn. shots from: the battle of helms’s deep (théoden has been freed from medivh’s influence, so he looks younger again), which decides the fate of rohan; king llane is one of those riding out to meet the orc armies, which the wizard gandalf (lotr) wishes to stop since it’s too dangerous; durotan, who is the first orc to see that the fel and therefore sauron are the true evil, allies himself with gandalf and therefore the humans; aragorn faces medivh; frodo has brought the ring to mount doom. it is melted, and sauron’s tower, his strength and forces collapse while a huge battle is fought not far, with the fighters watching on. medivh finally understands that the fel has made him bring the orcs into this world, and that there is no way for him to go back. arwen grieves medivh - the man he once was - when she feels that he is dying (but he dies as himself, freed from the fel). aragorn is crowned king of gondor. ›› colouring: mine ›› music: /watch?v=6cRue-KrZ60 (edited) I SWEAR I'M WORKING ON NICE STUFF, TOO, BUT THIS WAS A DEADLINE THING
