After forming more than a decade ago, Far East Movement has since had a No. 1 single on Billboard Hot 100 Chart and became the first Asian-American group to do so. The three original members of Far East Movement, Kevin Nishimura (Kev Nish), James Roh (Prohgress), and Jae Choung (J-Splif), grew up in Downtown Los Angeles area. They first found success with their song "Round Round," featured in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and its subsequent soundtrack, video game and DVD. "Like a G6" was a hit on the Billboard charts as well as on iTunes, and the group has collaborated with dozens of artists including Keri Hilson, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg and even Riff Raff on "The Illest." Most recently, Far East Movement dropped the first part of a mini-documentary series exploring the 1992 L.A. riots, which features a number of first-hand accounts from individuals who were there when it happened. The group released their new EP titled "KTOWN RIOT" Oct. 28, and will debut Part II of the documentary series soon. FULL INTERVIEW HERE: http://www.myfoxla.com/story/27281238...
