NEW SERVICE: Glasgow to Manchester with Flixbus. This was my ever first time to Manchester!

[ When I was researching this video, I checked the Scotrail and CrossCountry websites and neither showed direct trains on the planned day of travel, although connections were showing available. I think it's highly unlikely every direct train was full days in advance, so I put this down to a technical issue. I have seen airlines remove flights from their inventory temporarily when a change of equipment or configuration is underway, and perhaps this was what happened on this occasion. ] I had used Flixbus only once in the past. This was an overnight journey from Glasgow to London Victoria, and against all odds I was able to sleep for a few hours. I don't sleep while on the move. Anyway, I was given an opportunity to try the new Glasgow-Manchester (and on to Birmingham and London) service with Flixbus.
