Today's News At A Glance at EveryDayLifeTV (7.11.16) 1) A shooting has been reported inside the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Jospeph, Michigan on Monday, July 11, 2016 at around 2:30 p.m. According to news reports, two bailiffs and the shooter have been killed. We will keep you updated on the story. CNN Reports: Two bailiffs and a suspect are dead after a courthouse shooting in St. Joseph, Michigan, Berrien County sheriff's Lt. Paul Bailey said. Bailey said the shooting happened on the third floor of the courthouse. Members of the public "went for shelter once the shooting occurred and brave officers were able to come to the rescue and bring the shooter down," Bailey said at a news conference on Monday afternoon. A deputy and a civilian also were shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries, Bailey said. They are being treated at Lakeland Health in St. Joseph and are in stable condition "The courthouse is secured and the scene is rendered safe. BREAKING: #troyave released from jail on $500,000 bail secured by him putting up his mothers house in Brooklyn. For the stipulations of the bail, he can't travel or perform or even see his kids till the trial is over. Last month, the Brooklyn rapper was indicted on one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to legal docs obtained by TMZ. Troy, whose real name is Roland Collins, was previously arrested in connection with the May 25 shooting at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza that left one man (Troy's bodyguard and friend Ronald McPhatter) dead and three other people injured. Despite surveillance footage appearing to show him opening fire backstage at the venue, Troy Ave has maintained his innocence, claiming that he acted in self-defense. Bailey didn't provide details about how the shooter obtained a weapon or how the shooting happened. Chris Gautz, spokesperson for the Michigan Department of Corrections, told CNN that a corrections employee on the third floor described seeing the gunman run by. That employee says the shooting occurred in or near a third floor-courtroom, Gautz said.
