Lakota the ti-liger is looking for that special someone to sponsor him at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge! This handsome boy will be five in August. According to his keepers (and various witnesses, he "enjoys stalking his habitat mates, as well as neighboring habitat mates." Stalking is definitely his favorite activity! Lakota is also described as a big goofball who loves to eat! According to other keepers, "He's kind of a big deal," and we couldn't agree more! This ti-liger was rescued during our 2016 Colorado Project, during which time we rescued 115 animals from a cub-petting/breeding facility. Lakota was one of the over 30 animals who found a home at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, while the others are living happily at other reputable sanctuaries across the country. Lakota lives with Khaleesi (Golden Tabby Tiger), Joey (orange tiger), and Aurora (white tiger) in a big habitat in the Discovery Area. Despite the species difference between the gals and Lakota, the four lived together in Colorado and continue to get along well here at the Refuge. Lakota is "fixed," because as a true sanctuary, we do not breed. Sponsor Lakota today at tcwr.org/support-us/adoptions-sponsorship/.
