From improving medical implants to reducing the cost of commercial air travel, even increasing the viability of cleaner alternative energy sources. Many current technological advancements have barriers that could be lowered with the design of more suitable materials. However, developing new materials is expensive and time-consuming which halts progress in these areas. Through incorporating new technologies including advanced manufacturing methods and machine learning, we can accelerate the material design process and hopefully propel forward many areas of research and manufacturing.
