Aloha! Welcome aboard The U Line: U.H. Manoa via H-1 Freeway on a 2010 New Flyer DE60LFR, Bus 165 (Extra Service, Hawaii Bowl). Video shows stops from Lagoon Dr. & Waiwai Lp. to Dole St. & U.H. Law School. The U Line is a frequent urban rapid bus line between Ahua Lagoon Drive Station and the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Market City. It is one of the two new letter lines. It has faster service to U.H. via H-1 fully between Ahua Station and U.H., compared to the pre-existing A Line, but at the cost of lower frequency, coming every hour instead of 10-15 minutes. Extra U Line runs are provided during rush hour (2 eastbound AM and 2 westbound PM trips). The U Line also serves Waialae Avenue and Market City, giving it connections to the the 1, 3, 7, 13, 14, and 200.
