In today's Turkey Travel vlog, I visit a place called Diyarbakir. I came from a different city and the bus dropped me off far from the castle. While waiting at the bus stop to find a new bus, this man told me that he was going to the same location as me and that he would take me there. He ended up paying for my ticket and refused to let me pay. Then he helped me find a cheap hotel. And after that, he said that he wanted to show me around the castle. It turned out to be an awesome adventure! I'm a little bit frustrated because during this whole process, I accidentally recorded a time-lapse of our interaction, rather than record a normal video. So our entire conversation of one hour is lost forever. Hopefully that doesn't happen again! The temperature was really hot on this particular day. I stopped at many locations to drink local and freshly squeezed lemonade. One of the places I stopped was Hasan Pasha Inn. This is a pretty cool cafe area. The bricks and architecture are rather appealing to the eyes. The more I travel East in Turkey, the more I fall in love with it. I keep meeting so many friendly and kind Kurdish people in this area.
