It has since grown into one of the most popular Black Sabbath songs. Ozzy Osbourne came up with the title but the lyrics were mostly written by Geezer Butler. They concern a super hero sent through time to save human-kind, only for him to be immobilised by steel and rendered an object of puzzling curiosity. This indifference breeds thoughts of vengeance and soon the hero will destroy that which it once was sent to save.
