As the final few days of the Gay Softball World Series come to a close in Dallas, Jon and Brian film all the fun! The Boston Platinum make a run deep into the tournament while the luck of the RI Rockers fizzles out sooner than they’d hope. For Jon, it’s more than just a game. He has loved baseball/softball since he was 4 years old - the relationships you make transcend the ball field. There are so many life lessons learned from playing this game, and this one game in particular against a team in the Boston league really allowed Jon to reflect on his love for the game and the people playing it. If you are looking to make more meaningful connections with other LGBTQ+ individuals, we highly suggest you look into gay athletics. Even if you don’t play and just help out or assistant coach, it’s a great way to make lasting relationships with other like-minded people.
