Completing my North Jutland road trip by visiting the Danish island of Morsø (Mors Island) where I rode on a historical wooden ferry, climbed Hanklit Cliff & drove some epic Danish roads. 🇩🇰 See all my NORTH JUTLAND videos → https://bit.ly/mwt_NorthJutland My road trip around North Jutland in Denmark continues as I drive across the Danish island of Mors (Morsø) towards Aalborg, my final destination. Mors is an island in the Limfjorden populated by around 20,000 people - it feels smaller than it is with plenty of intriguing places and charming scenery. My first adventure was to get over to the island, especially when I realised there wasn’t a bridge nearby. Luckily a ferry service was operating from Næssund Færgeleje Hurup over to Næssund-færgen on the island of Morsø so I purchased a ticket and drove on board. This turned out to be an incredible experience as the ferry was an old wooden vessel of historical importance. The drive continued and I was soon at the base of a large hill called Hanklit. A short walk later and I had scaled the 60 metre high molar cliff and was looking out at the impressive Limfjord and the distant flats of the North Jutlandic Island. I continued on my way finding sunflowers, agricultural land & some impressive waterside roads. As the day turned into early evening I drove over to the Viking Museum Lindholm Høje (Vikingemuseet) on the outskirts of Aalborg where my road trip around the engrossing coastline of North Jutland had begun just one week earlier. I spent my final few hours in Denmark at the ancient Viking burial ground where stone circles and gravestones sit on a hill overlooking the city. I couldn’t think of a better place for my journey to end.
