A 39-year-old Covid-19 patient has spoken of her distress as she battles the virus and, speaking from an intensive care bed, warned others “not to take any chances”. Waitress Tara Jane Langston was described by her husband Richard as a healthy, gym-going non-smoker, who happened to be "unlucky." She was recently admitted to the intensive care unit at Hillingdon Hospital in West London with Covid-19. According to her husband Richard, she did not have to be sedated or ventilated.
