I love the Rusty Box. It finds its way onto most recordings I do. After owning a bunch of different bass preamp pedals, the Tronographic Rusty Box has risen to the top of the heap beating out the Tech 21 Sans Amp VT Bass, Darkglass B7K, Aguilar ToneHammer, and many more. The Rusty Box is based on the preamp section of an old Traynor TS-50B amp and it works well in front of amps, as a preamp straight into a power amp, and even works well with guitar!
