Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Part 1 | Earthrealm Invasion | Sprite Animation. This is an introduction to the story. It contains 90% talking to explain how things get started. I wanted to bring the original MK3 story to life. The MK games are always very vague, and never really explain everything. I wanted to show how Shao Kahn's Fortress got in the middle of that city and fill in the whys and hows of the story. Summary: Liu Kang and Kung Lao are still banged up from the last fight against Shao Kahn, the story continues as Shao Kahn is back in Outworld plotting an invasion against Earthrealm. Shao Kahn is after seven strange emeralds and only possesses five of them. Using the power of five they have, Shang Tsung teleported Shao Kahn's fortress into Earthrealm and the invasion begins. Jax and Sonya are the first to detect trouble in Earthrealm. They immediately head toward the action. Liu Kang and Kung Lao are quickly attacked by hundreds of enemies. During the scuffle, Kitana gets captured and taken to Shao Kahn. The journey to stop Shao Kahn has begun. Raiden then steps in and explains to Liu Kang and Kung Lao what is going on. Raiden assures them they are not strong enough to fight Shao Kahn alone, and must gather a strong team. Raiden sends them both to Outworld to find Sub-Zero, and this is where the story carries over into Part 2. I'm able to work much faster today with new software. My old technology was limited. With a new program called "Swivel", I am able to convert SWF files into MP4. This allows me to upload much higher quality videos. The sharpness is much higher now compared to a few years ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my Mortal Kombat Reconciliation sprite animation series I started in 2010. The story is based on the original Mortal Kombat 3 story. Shao Kahn invaded Earthrealm and as usual, it's up to Liu Kang and his crew to stop him and his army. I don't follow the original story 100% in this series at all. The real story is contradictory and too vague. I do follow most of it and fill in the gaps with my own ideas. I try to make the most epic fight scenes possible using MK Trilogy sprites and objects. I've built custom maps and added detail to the original arenas. I was new to sprite animation when I started it and learned more and more as I kept working on it. I used Adobe Flash MX for the first 12 Parts. I upgraded to Flash CS3 for the rest of the series. The complete edition of the series is made with Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Premiere CS5, and Adobe Photoshop CS3.
