This month, we were delighted to launch our new resource: Dementia & Spiritual Care short guide. We were joined by special guests, Gwenda Darling, an advocate living with dementia, and Holly Markwell, National Program Manager, Dementia Centre, HammondCare. The purpose of this short guide is to look at spiritual care in the context of dementia, provide some basic and helpful information for those who are new to caring for those living with dementia as well as actions and ideas that can be implemented by all staff (and friends and families) who are looking for new ways to use spiritual care to engage and support.
