In this video, I am going to share a healthy alternative snack that everyone will enjoy. For that, I am using Bitter gourd / Pavakkai / Karela from my backyard Vegetable garden. I planted these bitter gourd seeds after the frost date which was around mid-April and started to harvest Vegetables from mid-May. Bitter gourds are tropical vines that are widely used in Asian Cuisine. The variety I have planned will yield baby bitter gourds also know as Medhu Pavakkai in Tamil, These Bitter gourds are very delicious and not as bitter as the regular ones. you can use any variety of Bitter melons in this recipe Bitter melons / Bitter gourds are rich sources of antioxidants, flavonoids, and other polyphenol compounds, bitter gourds may help to reduce risks for a number of health issues. Bitter gourd is packed with polyphenols. These compounds are known for their ability to lower inflammation in the body.
