Good afternoon Friends, I must admit this is an overview of the largest construction project of all that I have seen so far. It will be about construction at the TANECO oil refinery in the city of Nizhnekamsk. The company SOPiG, on whose initiative I was invited to this grandiose construction site, has been engaged in the transportation of heavy and oversized cargo for 30 years. The company's fleet includes a large number of various special equipment and cranes. In this review, the company's specialists will install a fuel purification reactor weighing more than 1,000 tons. The lifting of heavy cargo will be carried out through the hinge by a Liebherr LR1750 crawler crane, and another LR 1350/1 crane will help in the lifting process. As explained by the specialists of the company SOPiG, the technology of lifting loads through a hinge is more difficult than lifting and installing loads with two cranes. Many factors need to be taken into account, but this technology allows the use of cranes with a lower load capacity, which is ultimately more profitable for the customer. In addition to lifting the rector, he also had to be delivered on a special self-propelled heavy-duty platform, which we will also talk about in this review. Well, the most important thing is people – employees, specialists who have been working at SOPiG for decades. In this review there will be several interviews with people who will talk about their work, share their work life experience. For my part, I express my gratitude to the company for the opportunity to shoot such a review about the work of crawler cranes on the mega construction of the TANECO plant.
