this song was written a few years ago. i would say it's the one that sparked this album and the trajectory for healing. i remember the day the experience and lyrics came, i remember the day i sat at the piano and awkwardly fumbled through chords and melody, and i remember the many shapes and shifts this one took, but i am proud of what it has become and the healing it allowed to happen, by saying and getting it out of me. honesty will do that...set you free. 36 hours in Miami, a brilliant producer (my sister) and 2 phenomenal photographers (Nic Morley and Adam Hendel) later and we made this. my life has by far been blessed by all the creatives i am constantly discovering and crossing paths with. i was beyond humbled and honored these ones would be willing to do this for me‪@nicsmindset‬ you are a joy to know and get to work with thank you for this. thank you for being present through this whole creative process.
