The CF-100 Canuck was the finest product of the Canadian aviation industry. It was also likely the best straight-winged fighter of all time and the best all-weather fighter of the early 1950s. This video details its origins, development, performance and the tactics used in its employment. Sources: There is only one written source of note on the Canuck, Larry Milberry's masterful "The Avro CF-100". It is four decades out of print but remains both a nearly definitive guide to the aircraft and an excellent aviation book. An account of Gaylord Treu's collision with a B-47 can be found here: https://campingcdn.blogspot.com/2012/... A vast library of photos about Canadian technology can be found at the Ingenium Collection. A word of warning, one can easily spend hours on this site! https://collections.ingeniumcanada.or...
